Oulu2026 events offer a variety of workshops aimed at everyone who is interested trying new things! The workshops are organised in Oulu and Oulu2026 region. Workshops range from painting to story-telling, singing and traditional art from other cultures.
Throughout the year, workshops will take place across Oulu and the wider Oulu2026 region. The workshops offer a low-threshold opportunity to try new art forms or take part in larger artistic projects.
Most workshops are free of charge, and you can always check the workshop language from the organiser. Do you need a companion to events?
CultureCompanion2026 is a volunteer who joins you at Oulu2026 events and offers an opportunity to meet new people. Adults over the age of 18 can apply for a CultureCompanion from the following municipalities: Alavieska, Haapavesi, Kajaani, Kuhmo, Kuusamo, Oulu, Oulainen, Sievi, and Ylivieska. The programme will continue until December 2026.
