Raksila Supermarket
Faravid’s Land combines theater, dance, and circus in a single performance. The venue is the former EKA Market building—the first supermarket building in the Raksila area when viewed from the railway station.
Eira Virekoski wrote Faravid’s Land, and Alma Lehmuskallio together with Pirjo Yli-Maunula directed it. Oulu Theatre and Flow Productions co-produce this performance in collaboration with Oulu2026 and still still (NED).
Oulu holds the title of European Capital of Culture in 2026. Faravid’s Land forms part of the Oulu2026 cultural program, Cultural Climate Change, and the Oulu August Festivals. The Finnish Cultural Foundation and the New Classics grant program support this work.
