The Power of Tradition
Wanha Woima Days 3.-5.7.2026 attracts around 20 000 visitors each year, which we prepare for during the year with Manual Skills Workshops (including machinery/vehicles and food heritage). After the workshops, you can see them at our event.
The Wanha Woima days 3.-5.7.2026 is a multifaceted event for the preservation and transmission of intangible and tangible cultural heritage, where, in addition to the development of 20th century technology (cars, tractors, motorbikes, steam and power and land engines, etc.), a wide variety of traditional manual skills, building heritage and exhibitions will be presented. During the year, we hold workshops during which we familiarize ourselves with various manual skills (also includes machines/vehicles and food traditions). Workshop instructors, both Finnish and international, will also come to our event in July.
Our impact to Culture-
climate change
We want the cultural climate to preserve the values of our tangible and intangible cultural heritage, but we also want to maintain cultural diversity.
