Cultural Kaleidoscopes is a 2-day street festival bringing colour and imagination to the heart of the Oulu city centre by transforming the street into magical kaleidoscopes of engaging cultural experiences for both artists and audiences of all ages.
The Cultural Kaleidoscopes programme celebrates ancient European cultural heritage, oral traditions and seasonal festive celebrations including Tuatha Dé Dannan, Rhymers, Mummers, Wren Boys, fairies, poetry, Irish Wolfhounds, Irish traditional music and dance, Finnish traditional music, storytelling and an array of circus artists, an opera singer, acrobats, and street performers representing a spectacle of performance art forms.

The sole mission of our Cultural Kaleidoscopes program is to offer an inclusive and easily accessible spectacle of artistic performances to bring the city centre area to life for everyone to experience and leave with lifelong memories. We aim to create new cultural models leading us as a society to a better cultural appreciation while empowering the positive advance for Culture Climate Change in Oulu.
