Deadline for the 1st bid book 5th of May

The call for submission of applications for the European Capital of Culture 2026 competition has been published April 1st 2019. Applications must be submitted no later than May 5th 2020. Applications shall be presented in English.

The opening of Antti Laitinen’s You Are Here attracted a large number of visitors to Koiteli. Laitinen’s artwork consists of six viewing windows placed in the landscape and two large lichen spheres suspended in the air. The work has been created mainly using natural materials.
