The event offers inspiring keynotes, discussions, workshops and demos exploring the role of technology in the future of creative work. AVARA 2026 is part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme.
Theme 2026: Art & Tech <3 Space
The theme invites creators to explore space in all its multidimensional meanings: physical, conceptual, virtual, social and cosmic. Space can be a room, a realm, a gap, an interface, an atmosphere, or an inner landscape.
It encourages reflection on how space, technology and creative practice shape one another now and in the future.
