Oulu2026 is proud to collaborate with two distinctive northern design brands, Nikama and Lovi. Both companies represent high quality, environmental friendliness, and a strong commitment to responsibility.
Nikama’s and Lovi’s official Oulu2026 anniversary products are available in the Oulu2026 online store, at the Oulu2026 information point in the lobby of the Fotografiska exhibition (2nd floor of Kauppakortteli Pekuri in downtown Oulu), as well as directly from the companies.

NIKAMA – Northern Soul in Stainless Steel
Nikama is a Finnish design and lifestyle brand that manufactures jewellery, awards, interior items and gift products from the world’s purest stainless steel. The company is known for its design language inspired by northern nature, the exceptional durability of its products, and its strong tradition of craftsmanship. Nikama’s story is guided by courage, perseverance, and the desire to create objects that stand the test of time – even “forever”.
All Nikama products are designed and manufactured at the company’s own factory in Jääli, Oulu, making them not only high-quality but also truly local design. Nikama’s distinctive style draws from humanity and nature. Although stainless steel is strong, cold and rigid, the products radiate the authenticity and warmth of handcrafted work. Each Nikama product tells a story of perseverance, passion, and courage.
LOVI – Iconic Wooden Assemble‑Yourself Design
Lovi is a local family-owned company that produces assemble-yourself interior and gift items at its factory in Jääli, Oulu. Its products are made from domestic, certified birch plywood, and all packaging is plastic-free – sustainability is at the heart of Lovi’s design and operations.
Founder and designer Anne Paso is responsible for the product range, which includes everything from small balls and figures to large trees several metres tall. Lovi’s patented joint solution makes the products easy to assemble and disassemble, and the process itself brings joy, insight, and the pleasure of making.
In addition to Finnish retailers, Lovi’s online store and factory outlet, products from the Hallitie factory are shipped to interior and design stores around the world.
