A welcoming and inspiring space for multicultural women, a place to share experiences, discuss global and societal topics, and build meaningful connections while giving back. Open to all women living and volunteering in Oulu.

Get to know the other members, connect and dive into what we would make of this community. There will be free coffee tea and some snacks.

Oulu Volunteering Women’s Club Programme
• Monthly Discussions Circles
Themed conversations on societal, cultural, and global topics. Examples: Womanhood across cultures, Identity and belonging, Gender roles and change, Women and leadership, Mental health in multicultural contexts.
• Cultural Exchange Evenings
Each month, one member presents her country: traditions, values, and women’s realities there. Includes food, music, or storytelling. Workshop and Skill sharing Inviting inspiring women (academics, artists, entrepreneurs, activists) to share their stories and insights.
• Social/informal gatherings e.g. picnic
Picnics, cultural dinners, or informal meet-ups to strengthen friendship and connection.
• Workshops & Skill-Sharing
Sessions on self-development, communication, leadership, or cultural understanding. Members will teach something from their own expertise.
•Annual Women’s Forum / Celebration
A yearly event showcasing discussions, cultural performances, and stories from members. Celebrating Women and just enjoying the moment. Open to all the women communities in Oulu.
