The route maps for Midnight Sun Run Oulu 2026 have been released. The routes offer runners a chance to experience Oulu at its best.
Along the route, runners will experience beaches, urban landscapes, well-known landmarks, as well as hidden gems. The routes have been designed with a strong focus on experience, smooth flow and Oulu’s unique cityscape. Both first-time and more experienced runners have been taken into account in the planning.
The route maps have been published on the event’s social media channels and on the registration platform. There may come minor changes as the event approaches. Any updates will be communicated through the Midnight Sun Run Oulu’s official channels.

What is Midnight Sun Run Oulu?
Midnight Sun Run Oulu is a new running event that takes place on Saturday, July 4th 2026. Its start and finish point are located at Nallikari beach side. There are three different distances available: 10k (10 km), half marathon (21 km) and marathon (42 km). During the day, there will also be a children’s run for under 12 years of age (500 m–1 km).
The event combines running, culture and the unique atmosphere of the northern summer night. Midnight Sun Run Oulu invites runners of all levels to experience the joy of movement and the magic of the midnight sun in Oulu.
