Welcome to Library Square to explore open-to-all activities and to enjoy the Library Connects show!
At Library Square, you can join a creative writing workshop, try graffiti painting, hear the hottest summer book tips, learn more about equality and take part in a reading challenge. The Library Connects show invites all locals and visitors in Oulu to witness something amazing, exciting, and culturally unifying. Come and be surprised!

This free and open-to-all event takes place in a central location near the Oulu Main Library and Oulu Theatre. The area is easily accessible by foot, bicycle, or public transport. The diverse program is designed to foster encounters and offer experiences for all senses—movement, music, hands-on activities, dialogue, and learning. At the same time, we’re showcasing the library itself—an ideal driver of positive cultural change.
