Oulu2026 Stage
The artists selected annually through an Open Call. Oulu2026 Stage seeks fresh, diverse, and forward-looking artists from the Oulu2026 region. Over the course of two days, the stage will host around ten live performances. The open call for artists for summer 2026 was open throughout February.
The Oulu2026 Stage is free entry and open to all ages. The event has been organised since 2022, offering a wide range of musical performances. The stage presents local artists and talents every summer until 2026, during the Qstock Festival in July.
Artists 2026
This year we received 138 applications through the Open call.
Taking the stage at Oulu2026 on Friday are Huiputus, a renaissance group of Finnish-language rock; Raahe-based hip-hop artist Armas; indie pop quartet DIVON; and singer-songwriter Vera Alice, who is aiming for the international market.
On Saturday, it’s the turn of metal newcomer Enfame, the joyful rap group OCF Collective, house artist Anita C00L, and indie pop artist Saaga, who performs playfully poignant “laments”. One more international artist will take the stage, to be announced later.
Accessibility
The Oulu2026 Stage is located in Linnansaari, close to the city centre of Oulu. The area is free-entry. The area will offer food services, a separate serving area (age limit 18+), and toilets. The area includes paved and gravel pathways, as well as flat grass areas. The front area of the stage has a gentle slope.

The artists stepping onto the Oulu2026 Stage last summer included northern house duo Winter Games, metal core group Lowhill, Sami rapper Yungmiqu, punk rock posse Taskujauheliha, nuanceful rock act Sagastrophe, melodic metal powerhouse Epileptica, electronic pop whiz Eriika, and finally Nope, a deadly danceable folk-music ensemble. In addition Silver Sepp arrived from Tartu, the European Capital of Culture 2024.
The Oulu2026-stage is free-entry and open for all ages. Linnansaari park has a beer tent with an age limit of 18 years. There are also food stalls and toilets in the area.
